• esh  Easy SHell; "with a syntax similar to Lisp/Scheme. It is tiny in size, and features a real programming language at the core."
• sh variants:
  • gsh  Takes advantage of graphical environment.
  • psh - The Prompting SHell (supposed to help beginners by providing contextual help on command line)
  • sash: A shell which uses no libraries and includes usually external commands. For rescue floppies.
